How does it work?

The  Energy Saver unit reduces the amount of power drawn from the utility company by storing (in its capacitors) otherwise lost and wasted electricity (watts) caused by the inductive motors in your home or business. If you decrease your demand from the utility company, you use less electricity, thus saving money. Think of this as simply recycling wasted electricity!

It also acts as a voltage stabilizer by storing energy for up to 10 seconds and therefore supplies the load with constant voltage during momentary power surges. This in turn, results in a longer lifespan of your electrical motors.      


What is Power Factor?

Power factor is the percentage of electricity that is delivered to your business and is used, compared to what is wasted. For example, a 1.0 power factor means that all the electricity that is delivered to your home or business is being used. However, most businesses today have an average 0.70 power factor or less. This means that 30% or more is being wasted by your inductive load. With a low power factor, the utility company has to deliver more electricity to do the same work.
